At this overwhelming time
With tears and sadness all around;
I thought I'd let you know
Talking helps is what I've found.
Others find it hard to say
Their name and talk about;
Your loved one whoever it is
They're frightened and have doubts.
Let them know that it's okay
In fact you'd rather talk about no other;
So that memories and love flows free
In memory for your brother.

Grief strikes at strange times
It comes and goes at will;
It doesn't let you know
It strikes and memories fill.
Many try to drown it out
It won't let you do that;
It will force it's way
And make you fall down flat.
So go with the flow
And the ups and downs;
Enjoy what makes you feel
Memories of sounds.
A laugh, a grunt a familiar word
A special way of saying;
That will whisk you off down memory lane
You'll find that you are praying.
For safety for the lost soul
That angels do exist;
For heaven to be true
And the last time that you kissed.

Sometimes we feel guilty
That it is a blessed relief;
For the one who was so ill
Has passed on to their belief.
It is us who are left behind
We're the ones who have to cope;
All manner of different things to sort
And all we can do is hope.
Sorting keeps us busy though
So can be good as well;
Taking our mind off other things
Have faith and the fear does quell.

The tears just keep on falling
They don't feel as if they'll stop;
I'm crying for myself though
He's not cried a drop.
The bravest of the brave
With not a moan in pain;
I'd give up almost anything
To have him back again.
A few more minutes to say
I've got so much love for you;
You've been a diamond all this time
Is there anything that I can do.

When I left this world without you I know it made you blue.
Your tears fell so freely, I watched: I know this is true.
While you were weeping, Days after I passed away --
While all was silent within
me, I saw you kneel to pray.
From this wonderful place called heaven
Where all my pain is gone,
I send a
gentle breeze to whisper, "My loved ones, please go on."
The peace that I have found here Goes far beyond compare.
No rain, no clouds,
no suffering -- Just LOVE from everywhere.
You need not be troubled Just stay close to GOD in prayer
Someday we'll be
reunited My love, HIS love surrounds you always, EVERYWHERE!
