I've really got to go
All my soul tells me so;
I'm sorry that it's gone this way
Let's live to love another day.

Short and sweet was what that was
It's awful now it's gone;
Leaving a sour taste in both our mouths
Another day another dawn.

The time has come
You know it too;
The time for leaving
I'm leaving you.

It's been too long
It's been coming for a while;
I should've left and
Putting between us miles and miles.

Now you've left behind
A string of broken hearts;
You should have stayed away
You'll go to hell in a handcart!

It's been great while it lasted
But we've sucked it till it's dry;
Don't ask me anything
I don't know how or why?

There's just no point
It's like waiting for a death;
The time has just come to an end
There's no life left and no breath.

Both our lives are precious
We mustn't waste a minute;
So go get on with yours
I'm off this way-got to split!
Maggie-May

Farewell, adieu and toodle-oo
I'm leaving here at noon;
I've got to go into the big wide world
Not stay here with this silver spoon.

Being my own man will make me feel
Like an adult in my own right;
I can't thank you enough for all you've done
But I need to rise to my full height.

I am off on the journey of my life
One whole year to travel around;
To see the sights
To hear the sounds

My travels will give me an insight
Into how the other half lives;
To see and to feel the same as them
To see just how much I can give.

I appreciate the privilege I've had up to now
Food in my belly and things on the telly;
So now I need to find my path to see what I can do
To make my life worthwhile and not grow sedgy.
