We are all so sad you're leaving
We are sad to say Goodbye;
We hope you'll be feeling better
We think we're gonna cry!

The jokes that you have given us
We've been in floods of tears;
For lots of different reasons
Going back for many years.

So keep taking the medicine
And do just what the doctor says;
He knows what he's talking about
No one knows how old he is.

Goodbye Co Workers and friends alike
I'm leaving you today
This message is for all of you
And I would like to say.

The biggest thank you to you all
For giving me this chance
To prove that I can be as good as you
And make this new advance.

Fully qualified who would have thought
Certainly not you at first;
So a big Thank You once again
For giving me that thirst.

Finding something that I liked
Seemed like a miracle I'm sure;
But with training and your enthuse
I've passes with flying colors.

As a chapter closes in your life,
And a new one starts for you,
May your years be filled with all the things
You've been looking forward to!

If I leave here tomorrow, will you still remember me?
Lynyrd Skynyrd

Of course we will, your name is etched
Into the furniture and the machines;
But also into every cup and teapot
You don't know what this means.

The tinkle of the bell when tea is on it's way
We didn't really mind you taking longer;
It was the best part of the day
Old Bert he just makes it stronger.

His missus won't make us a cake
We know her from the club;
As soon as he has finished
She'll be waiting down the pub.

So off you go to retirement land
You lucky so and so;
All of us here are jealous
We can't wait till our turn to go.

Off to pastures new
Whoever would have guessed;
You kept your studies quiet
Now you're off to flee the nest.

Up, up and away
Up the ladder of success;
Good Luck with all you
We wish you the very,very best!

Off to have a baby
You'll soon be back I fear;
The time flies by I'm telling you
As they grow up year by year.

So Good Luck with the birth
Hope everything goes well;
Pop in and let us know
You're looking really swell.

You've worked up to the very end
Well done for helping us out;
That order was important
Of that there is no doubt.
