There are the times that are so special
I just can't find the words to say;
Thank You hardly sounds enough
But I'll say it anyway.

When things went wrong you were there
Standing by my side;
When the troubles left you stayed as well
Support you never denied.

Sharing all the pain and worry
Suggesting what to do;
I'm not sure how I wouldv'e coped
If it hadn't been for you

I know you had the best intention
Really straight from your very heart;
And it's been at great cost to both of you
I've known that from the start.

Appreciation doesn't cover it
Just what I want to say;
I hope that I can reciprocate
To you both one day.

I don't know where I would be

Thank You Son for all the help
The work that you have done;
As I couldn't do the work myself
And couldn't pay anyone.

We used to say at Christmas
Thanks to all the jobs you've done;
Postman, milkman, window cleaner
No matter what the weather.

Doctors, nurses and so many more
Remember them not just in need;
As they all do important jobs
Important jobs indeed.

Drivers and delivery men
Out there in all the storms;
Whilst we can sit at home
Staying nice and warm.

Teachers get a special day
Some of the others too;
But all would thrive much better
With a little thanks from me and you!
