Oh sister dear, you think you are so funny
I'll punch you on the nose and make it go all runny;
I know that you won't stand your ground and off you go
As always and as usual run to dear old mommy

""

I know it's normal for a cat
To chase those dickie birds;
But when they catch a baby one
They just play, and don't give a turd.

I woke, knowing straight away it was going to be one of those days.
Reluctantly I swapped my dated Disney pyjamas for the uniform from hell. Then tie not so neatly tied and every hair in a place it wasn’t meant to be I started on my make up. Something subtle. As I did so I caught sight of my alarm clock, battered from years of my idleness.
“oh…gosh no?”
Replacing the mascara in my hand with my car keys, I rushed downstairs as though hell itself was at my heels and it might as well have been for the grief my first period teacher (Lucifer himself) would give me if I were late to his lesson.

My Mom says when she was young
All kids had little jobs;
Now they've made so many laws
And then turn and call us slobs.

I'd love to work on a saturday
I've nothing else to do;
I can't play out around here
I watch football here with you.

The telly is my way out
My world revolves round that;
Computer games as well
Running over others -splat!

Jumping up and down
Like a little flea;
It's not long till my birthday
I'm as happy as can be.

I found the dog I want
Sitting in a shelter;
They take all kinds of dogs
That others cannot alter.

This ones got my heart
I know that he'll be fine;
I'll shower him with love
Let him know he's mine, all mine

I'm working on inventions
To retire by 40 years;
I've got some good ideas
My Dad's got all the gear.

He's putting his faith in me
So we can get ahead;
The markets ripe for this
Success-or I'll be dead.

I've just found out
That Santa isn't real;
I'm so upset you know
It is quite a big deal.

Not the man in the suit
My Mom just lied to me;
How can I believe her now
In anything she says.

Always tell the truth
That's what she says to me;
No matter what the cost
I'm not sure I agree.

My dreams are shattered
My trust all gone;
I can play on this
Stringing her along.

Georgina

I've got a lovely tortoise
She hides away a lot;
I've had to mark her shell
With a great big spot.

My nail varnish is bright red
I can spot her anytime;
I called her George before
I found she was feminine.

""

I thought I'd get a skateboard
I'm now laid up at home;
I should have started slower
Not jumping on the dome.

It looked easy when the others
Said that it's great fun;
Not hard to do at all
Can be done by anyone.

""

I wish I was a glow worm
A glow worms never glum;
'Cos how can you be grumpy
When the sun shines out your bum.
