There's no one quite like Grandad
He's the most fun to be around;
He laughs and smiles a lot
In fact he's quite a clown.

His antics are the best of any day
Today though is going to be all his;
As it's Grandads Birthday once again
It's the one I wouldn't miss.

I can't believe that you're that old
You said you were batmans age;
Or has he been fibbing too?
Probably I'll wage!

Your whiskas are all bendy
Your moustache is quite unique;
My friends don't believe it's real
I think they want a tweek!

So Grandad on your birthday
With special things to do;
I just want to kiss and hug
And wish a Happy Birthday Grandad to you!

Cloth caps and gold watches
Have gone out with the times;
But not my dear ole Grandad
Especially 'cos he's mine.

He tells me about olden days
When times were harder then;
He meanders back in years
To I'm not sure when.

A century ago he was a baby boy
Things have changed a heap since then;
He's survived and lived a life to the full
I'm just starting out at ten.

Shaving sticks and spray on tan
My Grandad wears them now;
He's a groovy Grandad
And I love him anyhow.

No socks and pants for hom today
It's his Birthday-Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Grandad you're very ---- very old
But still look good all the same;
Who care's if your hair's going grey
And you'll suit a zimmer frame.
OK so you fall asleep in the chair
Your snoring's not that bad;
As for the sound you make when you sing
It's nearly the same, grandad.
