On this special day
And at a special moment;
I will look into your eyes and say
Those words "I do" and acknowledgement.

To the world and all and sundry
I give this man my life;
To love and honor and obey
As his everloving wife.

I know that he adores me
And will do all that I ask of him;
His vows of honoring and supporting me
Are not said on a whim.

Our day has finally arrived
We've waited for so long;
I want to shout it out
Or maybe sing a song.

Our love has blossomed over time
Into the most beautiful ever seen;
I'm sure that everyone agrees
It's surely evergreen.

Everything is perfect all set and ready to go
The plans been laid for a long time;
Even the weather has promised us
Blue skies and sunshine sublime.

I see you waiting there so patiently
All the regality surrounding you;
The celebration of our love
Culminating on this day I'm marrying you!

Our families get on well
They liked each other from the start;
So their support has been great
We love them with all our hearts.

All jokes about mother-in-laws
Today I confirm not true;
As mine I love very much
And she must be given her due.

She has welcomed me with open arms
To take away her son;
But she has made it very clear
She wouldn't have allowed just anyone.

My gorgeous niece and nephews
Have spruced up very well;
Beautiful in their outfits
The photos will look swell

Because at first we lived in sin
We have the sheets and rubbish bin;
So although a gift would be swell
How about a donation to wish us well?

Todays wedding is unusual
I've turned up on a Harley;
We're in the woods and daffodils
Surrounded by a field of barley.

The vows are just as sacred
Held very close to our hearts;
As we vow year on year
That we will never part.

So never take for granted
As daily life grinds on;
That our love won't need refuelling
Or polishing until it shone.
